This year, we’re participating in Morguard’s North Pole Express, a four-week donation drive dedicated to bringing joy and hope to foster children across the country. Together, let’s make a difference in their lives and show them they are valued and loved.
What Is the North Pole Express? 🎅
The North Pole Express is a nationwide initiative where Morguard communities, including ours at The Lodge at Crossroads, collect donations to support children in foster care. For the next four weeks, our lobby will be transformed into a cheerful collection point for your generous contributions. Your donations will help fill comfort cases—special backpacks designed to brighten a foster child’s day with essentials and comforting items.
Who Are We Supporting? 💙
We’re proud to partner with Comfort Cases, a nonprofit that provides foster children with backpacks filled with essentials like books, pajamas, hygiene products, and other thoughtful items. Many children enter foster care with their belongings in trash bags. These comfort cases provide them with dignity, hope, and a reminder that they are cared for.

From now until December 13th , we’re inviting all residents to contribute to this wonderful cause. Simply drop off any of the following items in our collection box located in the lobby:
New pajamas (all sizes welcome)
Diaper wipes (packs of 10–48)
